Ellis Monk Delivers Powerful Talk in the Department's second colloquium for Spring 2018.

Second Spring Colloquium explores skin-color as an alternative to racial categories in the study of ethnoracial inequality in the US and Brazil

Ellis Monk, Assistant Professor of sociology at Princeton delivered a thought-provoking talk on Wednesday, Feb, 7th, 2018 on the advantages of using skin-color as opposed to racial categories when investigating inequality in the US and Brazil. His talk was the second colloquium for the Rutgers Sociology Spring 2018 Speaker Series. We now have a bit of a break and will welcome Paul DiMaggio (NYU) on March 28.
